Vitor Pereira pointed out that the Carabao Cup victory over Everton could be a turning point for Wolves this season. The coach made bold lineup and tactical adjustments, making nine changes to the starting lineup, and the results were immediate. Excellent performances from Marcel Muñez and Tolu Arokodare helped the team advance to the fourth round.  

After a slow start to the Premier League season, Wolves' Carabao Cup victory provided some comfort, and Vitor Pereira hopes the confidence and fighting spirit shown by his players in the cup competition will carry over into the league .
