Villarreal head coach Marcelino García Toral analyzed his team's valuable 1-0 victory over Levante in a rescheduled La Liga match in Round 16, held at the Valencia City Stadium.  

Marcelino said: "This is a great victory because we were facing a team that had their backs against the wall. We know that playing away is very difficult, and these three points are as valuable as any other. We did struggle a bit in the final stages of the game and could have finished it earlier. But we failed to capitalize on our opportunities, and getting these three points away from home always puts pressure on us."  

Furthermore, Marcelino emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean sheet after a series of unsuccessful matches. He stated, "We are not only happy with this victory, but also pleased to finally keep a clean sheet after so many games. This not only improves our defensive performance but also strengthens the entire team."  

"The team is currently third with 48 points, which is an excellent result. We got 44 points in the first half of the season, which I think is remarkable and the best result in the club's history. Winning is not easy for any team, not just us, but also for the strong teams. Today, against Levante, they were in a difficult situation and had a chance to get closer to the relegation zone. For us, these three points are crucial."  

Finally, Marcelino praised Mikotadze, who scored the winning goal, saying, "I saw that he was in very good form and very committed. He is more familiar with our tactical system and is good at utilizing space on the field. His sharpness and confidence are crucial for a striker. Scoring goals is very important for a striker, and we hope he can maintain this form until the end of the season."
