Youri Tielemans admitted he was sad about the outcome after Aston Villa lost 2-1 to Manchester City, a match in which Mateus Nunez scored in stoppage time to give his side all three points.
After the game, Youri Tielemans said: "We have tried our best, but unfortunately lost in the last minute of the game. It is really frustrating for us. Except for Manchester City's first goal, we almost restricted the opponent's attack in the rest of the time."
"We created the first chance and the opponent took their chance at the end of the game. They scored but we didn't. Anyway, this is football, it's always unpredictable. But it's really sad that we lost the game in the last minute."
With only four games left in the Premier League following the FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace, Youri Tielemans stressed that the team will do their best to achieve outstanding results this season.
Youri Tielemans said: "We only have four games left in the Premier League, so we will do our best to get a good result, get back to our ideal position and strive to enter the Champions League."
"Although we are disappointed with the result against Manchester City, we must analyse where we did not do well enough and make progress."
