The Times' renowned resident English Liverpool team correspondent Paul Joyce exclusively reported that Liverpool have called-off vice-captain, legendary Scottish international left-wing-back Andy Robertson's transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.

Joyce reports that while respecting Robertson's openness to a Spurs to Tottenham for more playing time, and the club's willingness to pay £5 million to replace the injured Ben Davies, Liverpool have decided to call-off the transfer due to various factors.

He revealed that Joe Gomez's injury in the recent match against Bournemouth, with an uncertain return date, has severely strained Liverpool's options at left-back.
