David Lynch refute rumours claiming that Eintracht Frankfurt had "accepted" the club's £80 million offer for its forward wonderkid Hugo Ekitike..

Resident renowned English Liverpool team correspondent David Lynch has personally refuted rumours claiming that Eintracht Frankfurt had "accepted" the club's £80 million offer for its France international forward wonderkid Hugo Ekitike in an interview with the country's official Liverpool fans organization's YouTube channel Redmen TV on Sunday.

Lynch refuted the rumour on the show, saying that he was puzzled by the rumour and questioned the possibility of it happening.

He said that the rumour which claimed that "the offer of an initial fee of £80 million has been accepted" itself is already worthy of questioning, because Liverpool has never rashly offered such a high price for any player.

Secondly, Liverpool is just looking for a cheap and good wonderkid striker like Ekitike, not "wanting to sign Ekitik himself."

Lynch added that it was almost certain that the Reds might sell Uruguay international forward Darwin Núñez this summer, but that did not mean Liverpool would definitely spend more than £100 million to bring in Ekitike.

The same is true for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, and it is too early to talk about Liverpool's top signing target.

Upon verification, the rumour which claimed that Eintracht Frankfurt had decided to "accept" the Premier League champions' offer of £80 million for Ekitike was written by the British infamously notorious online media outlet Football Insider, which is our website's "Daily Slap in the Face Party" representiative.

The rumour was first published on April 18, and later, as the rumour claiming that Liverpool was "interested" in bringing in a new center forward in this summer transfer window became rampant, the rumour about Ekitike became more and more widespread.

About Hugo Ekitike

who is only 21 years old, was born in Reims, France on June 20, 2002. He is 1.9 meters tall and plays as a striker. He has dual nationality of France and Cameroon.

Ekitike played for the youth academy of the non-league club Cormontreuil when he was a child. In 2013, he joined the youth academy of his hometown club Reims and made his debut Reims first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in October 2020.

In January of the following year, Ekitike was loaned-out to Vejle.

After returning to the club following the end of his loan spell in the summer of the same year, Ekitike quickly attracted the attention of Newcastle United with his high scoring efficiency.

In July 2022, Ekitike joined Paris Saint-Germain on-loan with a obligation to buy for 35 million. During which, he won the Ligue 1 once with the club.

On the winter transfer window's deadline day of this year, Ekitike joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a-loan with an option to buy, and his ownership was officially bought out two months later.

Since becoming a member of Die Adler, Ekitike has played 62 times for the Bundesliga side in all competitions, scoring 26 goals and providing 13 assists.
