Former Manchester United and England legend David Beckham has harshly criticized two of his former club's wonderkids, Argentina international winger Alejandro Garnacho and Ivory Coast international winger Amad Diallo, who repeatedly gave the middle finger to local fans for no reason during the club's post-season friendly match in Malaysia on Saturday.

Beckham suddenly criticized the two's indecent behaviour in an indirect way without naming them in the latest episode of his reality show Beckham and Friends.

He harshly criticized that as Manchester United players, Garnacho and Diallo should know the importance of respecting fans at all times as players of the team no matter where they are, and knowing that they should not vilify the image of the Red Devils, hence he was upset with their behaviour.

Beckham said: "It's a very difficult time for Manchester United. I don't want to see some of the things that are happening at the club. Performances on the pitch is important of course, but to be honest, as a fan and Manchester United supporter, I have seen a lot of things that I personally think are very inappropriate."

"As a member of the team, you must live up to the Manchester United badge on your chest. This is crucial. However, I have seen a lot of players behave very inappropriately. Of course, I am not saying that every Manchester United player is like this, but one or two are very disappointing."

"Our team attaches great importance to etiquette. We know what it means to play for Manchester United and understand the weight of the team badge. Whether we go to Europe or Asia, we always respect the fans. We always respect their efforts to buy tickets and ask for autographs and photos. This kind of support is worth cherishing."

Beckham's criticism is obviously aimed at the controversy that Alejandro Ganacho and Diallo raised their middle fingers to local Manchester United fans in Malaysia for no reason, which is still hotly discussed so far.

In fact, according to several short videos released on X (Twitter) and TikTok, when the team bus arrived at the hotel where they were staying in Malaysia, Amad Diallo had already raised his middle finger to the fans who cheered his name at the scene as soon as he stepped off the bus.

Later, at the end of the friendly match, Garnacho also raised his middle finger to the mobile phone camera of a fan on the sidelines for no reason when he walked back to the dressing room. The two's actions were immediately posted online by Malaysian Manchester United fans for harsh criticism.

As the public backlash intensified, Diallo defended himself on May 29 that he lost control of his emotions because he heard someone slandering his mother that day, and reiterated that he did not deliberately despise Malaysian Manchester United fans.

However, since in these short videos, the fans only shouted "Amad" and "Diallo", and no one ever shouted any slogans to slander his mother, Diallo's aforementioned statement was not only not forgiven, but attracted more criticism.

Subsequently, one of the fans who uploaded several short videos on X and TikTok to expose the indecent behaviour of Garnacho and Diallo even contacted the British gossip media The Sun.

The fan broke the news to The Sun that in addition to the above two scenes, Diallo and Garnacho even raised their middle fingers when they took photos with two overseas Chinese fans who came to Malaysia from Indonesia to watch the Premier League giants. It is a pity that the male and female fans also wrote "I hope the blessings brought to me by this photo will be enough for me to use for a lifetime" when sharing this photo.
