"If someone had told us at the start of the season that we would achieve this result, we would never have believed it," said Ernesto Valverde. "Now we are fourth and have qualified for the Champions League."  

"We are very happy with the performance. Obviously, we are very happy with the result and the effort that the players put in. We had just come off a very competitive game against Getafe and they wanted to knock us out but our high pressure prevented them from doing so."

Regarding the progress of the game and the record of five consecutive clean sheets in La Liga, Ernesto Valverde said: "We must stay highly focused, prevent the opponent's attacks and play our best on the field."  

"From this point of view, our performance was very good. We did not give the opponent any easy chances to break through. The goalkeeper and the defense played very solidly and maintained the advantage for the team. I never give full marks because I always give the highest evaluation to the players. They went all out and tried their best."
