Michael Keane stated that he is in excellent form and full of confidence at Everton recently, and believes he has made significant contributions to the team on both ends of the pitch. The defender scored his second Premier League goal of the season in Everton's 2-0 victory over Fulham.  

This season, Michael Keane has started all 11 league games for Everton, reaching his peak form since joining in the summer of 2017. Keane said, "It feels fantastic, I'm happy and confident, and I have chances to score every time I make a run forward."  

“My teammates’ crosses were very accurate. I almost caught a ball in the first half. I told myself to stay in the right position and I would find an opportunity. To be honest, I was a bit lucky. Although I fell from the shoulder, I was there, so I accept the result.”  

Everton manager David Moyes has been very impressed with the performance of number five Michael Keane this season. In his pre-match press conference on Friday, he said, "I think Michael Keane is in excellent form; he was just as good last year."  

“Even without playing, he still demonstrated a high level of professionalism, handled matters properly, trained diligently, and did not become discouraged by not being selected. I am happy with his performance; he did an excellent job, and I hope he can continue to maintain this level.”  

Speaking about his performance in Everton's defense, Michael Keane said: "I think I've been in good form and consistent. I feel great about the game, I'm confident, and I feel I can contribute a lot to the team. I'm happy with my performance, but I'm not entirely satisfied with the current results. I hope to continue working hard and maintain consistency because I know that when I play well, I can have a positive impact on the team and help them improve their ranking."  

Everton ended a three-game winless streak with this victory, following consecutive matches against Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Sunderland. Michael Keane stated that the team hopes to maintain their good form throughout the game against Fulham, given their excellent performance in the previous three matches.  

Michael Keane continued, "We were really eager to win, and it felt like we hadn't won in a while. We've had ups and downs in the last month or so, but we haven't been able to achieve the results we were looking for. So today's victory is very important, and luckily we did it."  

"Our opponents took a brief lead in the first 10 to 15 minutes of the second half, but we are facing a strong team. We can accept being behind for a while, but we played very steadily overall. After Jordan made a great save, the team regained control of the game. I think we are the better team, and this victory was well-deserved."  

“I think we could have been two or three goals ahead. Although an offside call came very close, our excellent first half performance put us 1-0 up, which greatly boosted the team’s morale. In the second half, we hoped to avoid repeating the mistake we made against Sunderland. Fortunately, we withstood the pressure from our opponents and created more attacking opportunities, which was very helpful in the game.”
