Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with a dominant 4-0 win over Real Madrid in the semi-final match at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Thursday.

In the first half, Mendes' close-range shot was spectacularly blocked, Ruiz scored with a close-range shot, Dembélé scored with a volley and Ruiz scored with a volley. In the second half, Doué's goal was ruled-out. At the critical moment, Ramos turned and pushed the ball into the net. In the end, Paris Saint-Germain convincingly defeated Real Madrid by 4-0. In the final, Les Parisiens will face Chelsea.

First Half

In the 5th minute, Achraf Hakimi passes horizontally from the right side of the box, Nuno Mendes quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed with his left foot from a very close distance in the box, but his shot was blocked off the goal line by Thibaut Courtois's outstretched leg. Les Parisiens missed a golden opportunity to score first!

Soon after, Désiré Doué passes horizontally from the right side of the box. His pass was initially blocked and cleared off not far away by Raul Asensio. Fabián Ruiz quickly followed up and after intercepting the ball, strucking the ball into the lower center of the net with his left foot from a very close distance in the box. Paris Saint-Germain broke the deadlock early to take a 1-0 lead!

In the 9th minute, Paris Saint-Germain made a deadly quick counterattack. Antonio Rüdiger miskicked the ball in his own back half. After successfully beating the offside trap, Ousmane Dembélé quickly followed up, intercepted the ball and dribbled into the center of the box before volleying the ball into the bottom left corner of the net with his left foot. Les Parisiens quickly expanded its lead to 2-0! This is the former Rennes, Dortmund and Barcelona striker's 35th goal in all competitions this season!

In the 24th minute, Hakimi passes horizontally from the right wing Ruiz quickly followed up and stopped the ball, before volleying the ball into the bottom left corner of the net with his left foot from the center of the box to score twice in the match. Paris Saint-Germain expanded its lead to 3-0! This is the Spain international midfielder's 8th goal in all competitions this season!

At the end of the first half, Paris Saint-Germain was already way ahead of Real Madrid by 3-0 as they entered the halftime break.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 48th minute, Dembélé passes horizontally from the left wing, Désiré Doué quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before volleying the ball into the bottom left corner of the net with his right foot from the center of the box against the outrushing Courtois. However, the linesman immediately raised his flag and ruled that the former was caught offside first, therefore the goal was ruled out!

In the 85th minute, Real Madrid got a corner kick opportunity. Luka Modrić took the corner by crossing it into the box. Éder Militão rose high and attempted with a header in the box, however his attempt went wide of the right side of the post.

Soon after, Militao intercepted the ball and took a few steps outside the penalty area and shot with his right foot. The ball was saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

In the 87th minute, Bradley Barcola passes horizontally from the left side of the box. Gonçalo Ramos quickly followed up, stopped the ball, turned around, and pushed the ball into the upper left corner of the net with his right foot from the center of the box. After scoring, Ramos did not forget to celebrate his goal by recreating Diogo Jota's goal celebration to mourn his national teammate who unfortunately passed away last week! Paris Saint-Germain ended the match suspense by the scoreline of 4-0! This is Ramos' 19th goal in all competitions this season!

When the final whistle is blown, Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Real Madrid 4-0, showing its strength as a Champions League winners.
