Roma defeated Stuttgart 2-0 on matchday 7 of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League season League Phase match at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Thursday.

In the first half, Pisilli scored with by volleying the ball into the net. In the second half, Demirović's close-range shot was blocked off the line by Evan Ndicka. At a crucial moment, Pissili scored again with a close-range volley. Ultimately, Roma defeated Stuttgart 2-0. Ermedin Demirović quickly followed up and upon picking up the loose ball, took a right-footed shot from a very close distance in the the box. The ball was deflected by Svilar and then cleared off the line by Evan Ndicka just in time! Stuttgart missed another golden opportunity to equalize against Roma!

In the 3rd minute of stoppage time, Paulo Dybala passes horizontally from the right side of the box. Pisilli quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps, and then before volleying the ball into the top right corner of the net with his right foot from a very close distance in the box, scoring his second goal of the match and sealing a 2-0 victory for Roma!

When the final whistle is blown, Roma defeated Stuttgart by 2-0.
