After Liverpool's pre-season match lost 2-4 to AC Milan at Kai Tak Stadium, captain Virgil van Dijk attended a press conference to review the performance and share his deep feelings about this trip to Hong Kong.

Although the result was not satisfactory, Van Dijk believed that the team still gained something on many levels. Talking about the team's experience in Hong Kong, Van Dijk said: "It is a valuable experience to be here. We can not only feel the enthusiasm of the fans, but also get in touch with different cultures. This is my first time in Hong Kong, and it's really great to be able to walk around and have a look. We also went to Mong Kok a few days ago. Although the time was not long, we felt the vitality of the city."

However, Van Dijk also admitted that there is still room for improvement in the field conditions: "The grass is indeed a bit challenging, but we have done our best in preparation today. Van Dijk concluded that although there is still room for improvement in the Hong Kong trip, the trip undoubtedly strengthened the team's cohesion and brought Liverpool one step closer to their goal.
