Kieran Tierney officially returned to Celtic and signed a five-year contract until 2030. The 28-year-old Scottish international once again put on the green and white jersey he is most familiar with with maturity and growth.

Tierney came through Celtic's youth system, made his first-team debut at the age of 17, and played 170 games for the club, winning 10 major trophies, including three consecutive trebles, namely the domestic league, FA Cup and League Cup, before moving to Arsenal in 2019. Now Tierney has returned with his overseas experience and is ready to start a new chapter for his parent club.

In an exclusive interview, Tierney said: "It feels great to wear the Celtic jersey again. This has always been my home. I talked to the coach. We worked together before and I have been in touch with him."

"He is one of the best coaches and I am lucky and grateful that he gave me the opportunity to come back. He knows how to bring out the best in me and I am looking forward to playing under him again."

After leaving his hometown, Tierney played in the Premier League and La Liga, won the FA Cup with Arsenal, and was also loaned to Real Sociedad. Tierney admitted that experiencing different leagues, cultures and languages made him more mature on the court and in life.

"I've learned a lot and grown into a more complete person. Now that I'm back, I just want to do my best and bring more victories to the Celtics," Tierney added.

Regarding the moment he will debut at Celtic Park, Tierney said: "It will definitely be very exciting and it means a lot to me and my family. I have experienced a lot of ups and downs in the past few years. Now I can come back here and walk out again at Celtic Park. It's really incredible."
