Augsburg and defender Henri Kodosu reach agreement to extend contract for another two years

In January of this year, Henry Kodosu's contract with Augsburg was automatically extended until 2026. Now, the club has further reached an agreement with the defender to extend the contract for another two years.
Henry Kodosu joined Augsburg from FC Pullach in the summer of 2020. Since then, the 25-year-old has been on loan at Lustenau, Austria and The Hague, Netherlands, while also gaining experience and growing in the FCA U23 team.
In the 2023-24 season, Henry Kodosu gradually joined the first team and made his Bundesliga debut in September 2024, officially appearing in the top league.
Augsburg CEO Michael Stroll said: "Henri Cordosu has earned his place in the team with his outstanding performances over the past few years and has proven that he has what it takes to be dominant in the Bundesliga. We hope that he will continue to improve on this and get better step by step."
Henry Kodosu said: "I am very happy to be able to renew my contract and I am very grateful to the club for its trust in me. Next, my goal is to continue to work hard, keep moving forward and continue my career."
