Cagliari announced on their official website on Friday that they have extended the contract of Slovakia international defender Adam Obert.
According to Cagliari's official statement, Obert has signed on a new long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.
About Adam Obert
The 23-year-old Obert was born on August 23, 2002, in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. He is 1.86 meters tall and primarily plays as a center-back, but can also play as a left-back and left midfielder.
Obert joined Zbrojovka Brno's youth academy at the age of eight, then Sampdoria's in 2018, before moving to Cagliari's youth academy in 2021. He completed his Cagliari first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in October of the same year.
Since his debut, Obert has made 114 appearances for the Serie A club in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing seven assists.
