Everton sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on a contract until 2030

Everton Football Club can confirm that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has joined the club from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee. The midfielder has signed a five-year contract until June 2030.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall becomes the club's fifth new signing of the summer, following the permanent signing of Charlie Alcaraz and subsequent arrivals of Tierno Barry, Mark Travers, and Adam Aznou. Having developed a solid reputation at Leicester City, gaining valuable experience during loan spells at Blackpool and Luton Town, Dewsbury-Hall has become a fan favorite and will join Chelsea permanently in July 2024.

The dynamic and versatile midfielder played 36 games for Chelsea in the 2024-25 season and was the only player to appear in all 15 of our Europa League matches, scoring four goals and providing three assists as we won the title. He was also part of Enzo Maresca's squad that lifted the World Cup trophy in the United States this summer.

After signing for Everton, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall told Everton TV: "I'm incredibly excited for the start of the new season. Sitting inside the stadium, it's an incredible feeling."

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall admitted: "To be honest, my family and I are really excited about this transfer. I believe this is the right decision, and because of this, I am full of motivation and determination. I hope to prove myself here and achieve real success."

"Everton is one of the most influential clubs in England and I believe they have a bright future in the coming years. Therefore, I made the decision to join the team without hesitation and I am eager to contribute to the team. This stadium is amazing. Of all the Premier League venues I have played at, this is undoubtedly one of the most impressive, which was one of the important reasons why I chose to join Everton."

“Everton fans are some of the most passionate in the UK. I know that as long as the team performs well and I play to my ability, I will receive their support and encouragement. This will greatly motivate me to improve with the team, and this is exactly what I am striving for.”

Discussing manager David Moyes' role in his transfer decision, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall said: "I chose to leave my previous club because I saw something special, a vision that I truly believed in. After speaking with the manager and understanding the club's long-term plans, including the new stadium, I feel Everton is the perfect fit for the next stage of my career."

“It was very encouraging for me as a player to hear that manager David Moyes had given me his stamp of approval, admiring my style of play and outlining his vision for my role within the team. I have the deepest respect for him, he is such a legendary figure in the game and it was a huge honour for me to play under him.”

David Moyes said: "We are delighted that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has decided to join Everton. Despite a number of clubs expressing strong interest in him, he is very much looking forward to embarking on a new challenge at Everton."

"Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has outstanding ability and extensive Premier League experience and we are confident he will integrate quickly into the team. We look forward to working with him and are sure that all Everton fans will give him the full support."
