Nottingham Forest Football Club announced that Neco Williams has renewed his contract with the team and his term of service will be extended to the summer of 2029. Neco Williams joined Nottingham Forest from Liverpool in the summer of 2022 and has played more than 100 games for the team so far.  

This versatile player played 39 games for Nottingham Forest in the 2024-25 season, mainly on the left side of the defense, providing solid support for the team's defensive system. In his first season on behalf of Nottingham Forest, Neco Williams scored his first Premier League goal at Anfield in April of that year, and since then his role in the team has become increasingly important.  

In the 2023-24 season, Neco Williams played a key role in the team's successful relegation journey, won high recognition from fans with his outstanding performance, and won the club's Player of the Month honors in February, March and April.  

Neco Williams, with his energy, calm judgment and excellent defensive resilience, has become a key factor in Nottingham Forest's success in the 2024-25 season. He scored his first goal of the season at the City Ground in the match against Brighton in February, helping the team to a 7-0 victory over the opponent.
