Lorient completes contract extension with Swiss international goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo..

Lorient announced on its official website Thursday that the club has extended the contract of its Swiss international goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo.
According to Lorient's official statement, Mvogo has signed on a new short-term two-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2027.
About Yvon Mvogo
Mvogo, 31, was born on June 6, 1994, in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. He is 1.87 meters tall and plays as a goalkeeper. He holds dual Cameroonian and Swiss citizenship.
Mvogo joined Young Boys' youth academy at a young age and completed his Young Boys first-team debut in a Swiss Cup match in August 2013.
In July 2017, Mvogo joined RB Leipzig for €5 million.
During his three-year spell with Leipzig, although Mvogo didn't get many playing opportunities, he still reached the DFB-Pokal and the Champions League semi-finals with the club once each.
In August 2020, Mvogo was loaned-out to PSV Eindhoven.
During his one-and-a-half-year spell on loan with the Lampen, Mvogo helped the team achieve a KNVB Cup and the Johan Cruyff Shield (Dutch Super Cup) double.
In July 2022, Mvogo joined Lorient for €2.5 million.
Since joining Les Merlus, Mvogo has made 88 appearances in all competitions for the newly promoted Ligue 1 side, conceding 124 goals, keeping 20 clean sheets, and winning the Ligue 2 once.
