The Chicago Bulls released a statement on Friday confirming that they have waived Japanese guard Yuki Kawamura, who had been sidelined by pain in his right calf.
As for Kawamura Yuki's future whereabouts, it is still unknown.
The 24-year-old Kawamura Yuki was an undrafted player in the 2023 NBA draft and joined the Memphis Grizzlies on a two-way contract in October 2024. Last season, he played 22 games for the Grizzlies in the regular season, averaging 1.6 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 4.2 minutes per game, shooting 11 of 30 and 7 of 23 three-pointers.

Following the waiver of Yuki Kawamura, the Bulls signed Trentin Flowers to fill the remaining two-way contract roster spot. He also played in the G League with the Clippers' affiliate, the San Diego Clippers, averaging 20.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in 27 appearances during that time.
