West Ham United have officially announced the signing of Danish goalkeeper Mas Hermansson from Leicester City. The 25-year-old has signed a five-year contract with an option for a further year, adding an experienced Premier League defender to the squad.  

Mas Hermansson excelled at Brondby, winning the 2022 Player of the Year award. He was subsequently named in the English Football League Team of the Year and helped Leicester City win the 2023-24 Championship title. Last season, he made over 100 saves in the Premier League and has chosen to continue his career in England's top flight, guarding the net for West Ham United.  

Mas Hermansson said: "I am very happy to join West Ham United. I have always felt that this is a place that is a perfect fit for me and my playing style. Coming to this team is a natural choice for me. This decision was very easy."
