After Gabriel dos Santos signed a new contract with Arsenal, the centre-back said he is proud to be one of the club's longest-serving players.  

Since joining the club in 2020, Gabriel dos Santos has become a regular starter and formed an unbreakable defensive combination with William Saliba. In the past three seasons, they have joined forces to help the team hit the league title many times and consolidate the team's position in the Champions League.  

The centre-back has made over 200 appearances for Arsenal so far and hopes to have more appearances to come, determined to build on his time at N5 in the years ahead.  

Gabriel dos Santos said: "This is a great club and I am very proud to have signed a new contract. I love this club, the fans, my teammates and this stadium and I sincerely thank everyone for their continued support."

Asked about missing the season-ending injury, Gabriel dos Santos said: "I am in good shape now. Although it was a difficult time for me, I knew it was time to focus on recovery. Now I feel much better and I am looking forward to the new season."
