Heidenheim defeated Stuttgart with a late 0-1 shock away win on matchday 31 of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season at the MHPArena on Friday.

In the first half, Demirović's volley was saved. In the second half, Mainka's header was blocked, then hit the crossbar. Rieder's free kick was saved, and Undav's header hit the post. At the critical moment, Honsak scored a wonder goal from a long shot. In the end, Stuttgart shockingly lost to Heidenheim by 0-1. After this round of games, Die Schwaben is temporarily 11th on the table with 41 points; Heidenheim is temporarily 16th with 25 points, only 5 points behind Hoffenheim and St. Pauli, who are on the edge of the relegation zone.

First Half

Both sides did not have many clear goalscoring opportunities. In the 31st minute, Deniz Undav made a through pass from the midfield center circle. In the 3rd minute of injury time, after picking up the loose ball, Pascal Stenzel took a long shot with his right foot from the edge of the penalty area, but his shot was saved by Müller.
