Cagliari completes contract extension with Colombia international defender Yerry Mina..

Cagliari announced on its official website on Friday that the club has extended the contract of its Colombia international defender Yerry Mina.

According to Cagliari's official statement, Mina has signed on a new three-year contract with the club which runs until the summer of 2028.

After completing his contract extension procedures, Mina, who was interviewed by Cagliari's official website again, said: "This contract extension means a lot to me. It is a reflection of the trust that the club, the entire management and every employee have in me."

"From the beginning, I felt extremely supported. We hope to continue to grow and improve together and meet new challenges. I am closely connected with Cagliari because from the first day, we felt very good between us. For me, my wife, my children, and the fans, they support us whether things are going well or not."

"Serie A and even Italian football as a whole attach great importance to tactics, and details determine success or failure. This has helped me improve my level as a player. The team I am in is always united and every game is a success."

"I hope to continue on this path, stay in good physical condition and bring my experience and leadership to the team, as I have always tried to do. Cagliari is still in Serie A and we hope to continue to consolidate our position."

"I promise the fans that I will give everything with my teammates and put all my energy on the pitch. Thank you for your support and thank you for everything you have given me. Let us move forward hand in hand and always cheer for Cagliari!"
