Official: Heidenheim extends contract until 2029 with 19-year-old center-back Adam Koller.

Heidenheim announced on Thursday that it has renewed its contract with Adam Kohler. The new contract extends the original expiry date of June 2026 by three years, until June 30, 2029.

Adam Kohler only signed his first professional contract this April, and this contract extension demonstrates Heidenheim's high regard and trust in him. In the announcement, Heidenheim Chairman Holger Sanwald explained: "Since being promoted from the Hartmann youth academy to the first team, Adam has integrated perfectly into the team in a short period of time and has made significant progress both competitively and personally. His performance in training and matches so far fully demonstrates the enormous potential we see in him. Therefore, we are very pleased to continue working with him."

The 19-year-old Koller primarily plays as a center-back and joined Heidenheim's U17 team from Reutlingen in 2022. He was officially promoted to the first team this season and has made 4 appearances so far, contributing 1 goal.

After completing the contract extension, Koller excitedly said: "I am very grateful for the management's trust in me, and I am very happy to receive a contract extension offer so soon after being promoted to the first team. I feel great at Heidenheim and I am very proud to continue to play for the team for the next few years."
