Warriors star Stephen Curry will be sidelined for at least another 10 days due to a knee injury.

The Golden State Warriors have officially confirmed that their star player, Stephen Curry, will be sidelined for at least another 10 days due to a troublesome right knee injury (patellofemoral pain syndrome). This news is undoubtedly a further blow to the Warriors, who are currently on a losing streak and desperately need points.

Stephen Curry, who will soon turn 38, had missed 15 consecutive games. The team revealed that his recovery is progressing well in a recent reassessment, and he has begun individual on-court training.

According to the plan, Curry will undergo a follow-up examination in 10 days. Even if the follow-up examination goes smoothly, he will still need to go through a series of conditioning training sessions, including full-speed scrimmages, before he can finally get the team doctor's official clearance to play.

This extended recovery period means Curry will miss at least the next six games. When he is fit to return, the Warriors will have only 11 regular season games remaining. The team had hoped he could make a quick return after the All-Star break, but it seems the process will be longer than expected.

As the team's undisputed offensive leader, Curry averaged a team-high 27.2 points per game this season. Without his leading scorer, the Warriors have struggled considerably. This season, with Curry sidelined, the Warriors have a dismal record of only 9 wins and 17 losses, and their record during the recent offseason is even worse at 5 wins and 10 losses.

On Tuesday, the Warriors suffered a heartbreaking 124-130 overtime defeat to the Chicago Bulls. This marked their third consecutive home loss and their fifth defeat in the last six games. With the regular season winding down, the Warriors, missing Curry, are facing an extremely tough test.
