Frank Lampard, celebrating his first year coaching Coventry, admits he enjoys the job.

Since taking over Coventry City last November, Frank Lampard has celebrated his first year in charge of the team. He admitted that he has become calmer, more composed, and has a better understanding of how to lead a team to continuous growth.

Coventry City led the Championship table in the first 15 rounds of the season, showing strong momentum. Although the team's 12-game unbeaten run was ended by Wrexham on Halloween, Lampard believes that the defeat actually helped the team stay alert.

For Lampard, this year has also been an important phase of personal growth. He revealed that he is now more composed, makes more rational decisions, and is better able to manage the team's emotions than when he first took over Derby County.

In a recent interview, when asked about his impressions after a year managing Coventry, Lampard said: "I enjoy working here and I like the atmosphere of the team. There are still many areas we want to improve, including the details of the training ground, recovery and preparation procedures."

“I learn every day. You will make good decisions and you will make decisions that you reflect on, but that’s part of coaching. If we work hard, the results will eventually be reflected in our performance.”

Now 47, Lampard remains highly vigilant, believing that calmness does not mean relaxation: "Experience and environment have made me more relaxed. I trust the players; they are self-driven and understand what kind of team the team wants to be."

“My personality has never been one to revel in victory. I always look to the next challenge and avoid complacency. I hope we can maintain stability while continuing to demand high standards.”

Coventry City have 31 games left to play this season, with their next match scheduled for November 22nd at home against West Bromwich Albion.
