Green: Everything is fine; the argument with Cole is over and done with.

Warriors forward Draymond Green said on Thursday that he has reached a settlement with head coach Steve Kerr.

On December 21st local time, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Orlando Magic 120-97 at home. However, the focus of post-game discussions undoubtedly fell on the incident where Green and Kerr argued and Green left the court.

In response to the widespread rumors, Green chose to address the issue on Thursday's "Inside the NBA" program. He stated, "Everything is great. We had a great day yesterday. Practice went well, and we had a very good conversation. Moreover, I'm glad I left the bench at that time. Because of this, we were able to move on from the past yesterday and focus on discussing the issues we needed to discuss and the work we needed to do for the team."

“I think we’re playing better and better, so it’s wise to cut our losses and move on. We’ve been together for a long time, so it’s inevitable that some friction will occur. I’m looking forward to returning to the court and giving my all to win today’s match.”

Green also defended his decision to leave the court during the game. He explained, "Because I've been through similar moments with Steve, I know the better way to handle things. I just felt the situation was too intense and wouldn't improve anytime soon. So I thought the best option was to step away and let things calm down naturally."

“I felt the team was in great form at the time. Although the shots weren’t going in, the overall performance was fantastic. I didn’t want a small matter to escalate into a big one, so I chose to leave after the conflict occurred. Our team is good enough to continue playing well and winning games – and that’s exactly what happened. I think leaving the court was the best way to handle it, rather than staying and letting the problem worsen.”

Green concluded by saying, "I think that was a major moment in my personal growth. Instead of staying put and arguing with Steve, I chose to step aside and let the team continue to play well, ultimately securing the victory we desperately needed."

After defeating the Dallas Mavericks in the Christmas Day game, Warriors star Stephen Curry commented on the matter: "Their relationship is much better now. These things happen all the time. They have a long-standing friendship and have gone through some ups and downs. They handled it well in practice yesterday, and our whole team showed good form today."

Jimmy Butler, however, didn't take the matter too seriously, and even welcomed the "interaction" between the two. He said, "I love it! You guys yell at each other. To be honest, it excites me a little. I like their confrontation; it's a good thing for us."

It's worth mentioning that Green played 28 minutes in today's Christmas Day game, averaging 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 steal, with a field goal percentage of 28.6% and a three-point percentage of 25.0%. The Warriors defeated the Mavericks 126-116, securing their third consecutive victory.
