Marshall M'Nesy was delighted to score Wolves' final goal of the season in the Premier League final against Brentford, earning his side a well-deserved point with a brilliant strike.  

With 15 minutes left, Emmanuel Abdu took a goal kick and Jurgen Strand-Larsen headed the ball towards Marshall Munesi, who fired a powerful shot into the top corner from about 20 yards out.  

Marshall M'Nesy thought the result was particularly significant because he helped Wolves break their record of not winning on the final day of the Premier League since 2010. He said: "It was a special goal, the kind of goal I have been practicing and even scoring similar goals many times since I was young."  

"That's what we've been working on, if Jurgen Strand-Larsen jumps up and gets the ball, I have to go for the second goal. I felt like there were plenty of chances before, but today felt different."  

"Vitor Pereira always offers us that option. If Jurgen Strand-Larsen is on the pitch, why not use it? When they are one-on-one we try to pass the ball to him and then we get the second goal because the winger is so fast. Obviously, it was a good goal today."  

"Vitor Pereira has created a family feeling for the team and brought confidence to the players. Confidence is important because it gives you a chance to win games. Obviously, the first half of the season was more challenging, but we are more mature tactically and our defense has improved a lot."
