After four years with Werder Bremen, Marvin Duksch's Bundesliga career has come to an end. The 31-year-old striker is set to join Birmingham City in the English Football League Two.  

The club's sporting director, Peter Niemeyer, said: "Marvin Duksch played an irreplaceable role in the crucial stage of the team's return to the Bundesliga. The striker has become an important member of the team's trust with his stable offensive ability and performance."  

"Nevertheless, we always respect the need for both players and the club to develop together and whenever the conditions are right, it is only natural for both parties to engage in discussions based on mutual trust, and now is such a time. We sincerely thank Marvin Dukesch for his contribution over the years and wish him all the best in his new endeavors in England."  

Marvin Duks said: "My four years at Werder Bremen were a very important journey in my career. I gained countless unforgettable memories here, and this experience will always be cherished in my heart."
