Pablo Ibáñez shared his team's joy at a last-gasp victory over Levante in Mendizorroza's debut match. Wearing the Alaves shirt for the first time, Pablo Ibáñez could hardly conceal his excitement at the dream start in a post-match interview.  

After the game, Pablo Ibáñez said in an interview: "I have waited for this day for a long time. This feeling is indescribable. Standing at the Mendy Stadium as a starter, under the backdrop of the whole stadium, and finally winning the game in the last minute, everything is perfect."  

"The significance of the first game is self-evident. A good physical and mental state is key. I was very excited to get three points in the opening game. It feels really good. The sprint in the final stage of the game was incredible. The whole team was immersed in joy."  

"This was the most demanding match physically, and we did have some injury problems. But now we have shown our strength and are ready. Chacho asked us to unite, recover quickly and enjoy the game in the best condition."  

Talking about his role in midfield, he said: "It wasn't difficult for me to integrate because the teams and the city I played for before were very similar. The coach gave me a certain degree of freedom, allowing me to move forward without the ball and to play more in between the lines when in possession."
