Raptors forward Ingraham replaces Curry in 2026 All-Star selection.

The NBA officially announced today that Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingraham will replace Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who is out injured, in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game at the Intuit Dome.
For 28-year-old Ingraham, this selection is not only his second time stepping onto the All-Star stage in his career, but also the highest praise for his strong comeback from the shadow of injury.
Since his first selection with the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2019-20 season, Ingraham has experienced ups and downs. He was traded to the Raptors after playing only 18 games last season, and due to a serious ankle injury, he did not make his debut until the preseason this season.
However, this season, Ingraham's outstanding performance, averaging 22 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, has helped the Raptors achieve a surprising 32-22 record. In a training interview on Tuesday, Ingraham couldn't hide his excitement, admitting that returning to the All-Star team has always been his goal.
“After this summer and my injury recovery, I know I might be a little rusty at the start of the season,” Ingraham said. “But I know I’ll get back into form sooner or later. While I don’t expect to be selected, I’ve never doubted my ability. I know that even after just returning from injury, I’m still one of the best players in the league.”
Midway through Tuesday's practice, Raptors head coach Darko Lajakovic, who will also be coaching the All-Star "World Team," excitedly rushed towards Ingraham to tell him the news. Ingraham jokingly said he was the last to know, and the team even canceled the rest of the practice to celebrate.
