In the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Group E of the European zone, Spain defeated Georgia 4-0 away from home, thanks to a brace from Oyarzabal, as well as goals from Martin Zubmendi and Ferran Torres.

Ultimately, Spain secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Georgia away from home, placing them first in Group E with 15 points.
