According to multiple sources, San Antonio Spurs star and All-Star center Victor Wembanyama missed Friday's away game against the Indiana Pacers due to injury, but the latest test results have brought positive signs.

In Wednesday's hard-fought 134-132 victory over the New York Knicks at home, Viktor Axelsen suffered a hyperextension of his left knee late in the game. Although he finished the game, the injury has raised serious concerns among the coaching staff.

To ensure the long-term health of the 21-year-old key player, the team decided to keep him in Texas for further care and did not travel with the team to Indiana. This marks his 13th missed game this season.

Thursday's MRI scan showed that Wabbenyama's left knee ligaments were not damaged, only suffering a minor knee injury. Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson expressed optimism in an interview, believing that Wabbenyama would be able to return to the court soon.
