Athletic Bilbao head coach Ernesto Valverde has given his thoughts on the match following his team's 0-0 draw with Elche.
Ernesto Valverde admitted that Athletic Bilbao lacked composure amid the pressure created by Elche as they found themselves in a stalemate at the Estadio Martínez Valero.
The game was both cautious and intense, with both teams struggling to find their rhythm. Ultimately, Athletic Bilbao managed to hold on to a point thanks to their tenacious defense and some excellent saves from goalkeeper Unai Simon.
