Matty Cifuentes stated that his team failed to create enough scoring chances against Millwall in their 1-0 defeat. Leicester City conceded a goal to Femi Aziz before half-time in South London and failed to equalize in the second half, leaving them in 10th place in the Sky Bet Champions League.  

The head coach expressed regret for the goal conceded before halftime. He noted that while the team had a strong start, their overall performance fell short of expectations. "This wasn't the result we were hoping for, and the team is feeling down," said Marty Cifuentes. "This has been a very difficult week, and we didn't perform as well as we could have."  

In the first 15 minutes of the game, the team played actively but failed to take the lead. As the game progressed, Millwall gradually created threats through set pieces and long passes and began to control the offensive rhythm.
