Mavericks defeat Lakers 121-94, Vincent's 22 points can't save the team

On October 17th , the NBA preseason continued, with the Los Angeles Lakers defeating the Dallas Mavericks 94-121. Although the Lakers led after the first three quarters, they only scored eight points in the final quarter as the Mavericks outscored them 37-8.

In the first quarter, the Lakers led by 12 points thanks to Vincent's excellent touch , ending the first quarter with a score of 36-32. In the second quarter, Hachimura scored 13 points in a single quarter, helping the Lakers extend their lead to 66-53 at halftime .

In the third quarter, the Lakers started strongly and led by 17 points at one point, but the Mavericks quickly caught up with outside shots and strong attacks under the basket. At the end of the third quarter, the Lakers still led 86-84.

Entering the fourth quarter, the Lakers' offense suddenly stalled, their shooting percentage plummeted, and the Mavericks quickly overtook them. Lively, Washington, and Thompson scored consecutively, completely crumbling the Lakers' defense. Ultimately, the Lakers scored only eight points in the final quarter, losing to the Mavericks 94-121.
