Paul Pogba posted a video on the social media platform on Monday, expressing his strong desire to return.
Pogba, 32, has helped Juventus and Manchester United win four Serie A titles, two Italian Cups, three Italian Super Cups, one UEFA Cup and two English League Cups. He also played for the French team as a starter in the 2018 World Cup. He was banned for 18 months from September 2023 due to a positive doping test, and then negotiated a termination of contract with Juventus in November 2024.
On March 11 this year, Pogba officially returned to action after being banned from playing. He said in the video: "I want to send a small message to tell everyone that I am still eager to return. I have been training alone, but I have never given up and I am always chasing my dreams and goals."
"I just want to tell everyone that even though we haven't achieved our dreams yet, as long as we persevere and keep working hard, one day our dreams will come true. Maybe it will be tomorrow, or maybe it will be in a year or two, but what is coming will eventually come. So, let's encourage each other! Come on everyone, I'll see you again soon."
According to TA, Pogba is in talks with D.C. United about joining the team. The team has its MLS discovery rights and currently ranks 13th in the Eastern Conference with 2 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses and 9 points.
The MLS summer transfer window will open on July 24, but Pogba, as a free agent, can sign at any time. If the negotiations go smoothly, he is expected to land in the MLS as soon as possible.
