Totti Gomes is convinced Wolves have what it takes to end the season on a high as the traditional powerhouse prepares for Sunday's final clash with Brentford at Molineux.  

The Portuguese defender has played every minute under Vitor Pereira since he took over as manager in December and will be looking forward to his 101st appearance in the black and gold shirt this weekend, having captained the team to celebrate Selhurst Park's centenary in midweek.  

Although Totti Gomes is one of Wolves' most senior and longest-serving players, he has yet to experience the joy of winning on the final day of a Premier League season, so he is determined to break this record in the game against Brentford.  

Totti Gomes said: "For the final game of the season, being able to play at home is a big advantage. The atmosphere created by the home fans is extremely beneficial to us."  

"We have to respect our opponents because they are also a strong team. But we know where we are going and working together with Vitor Pereira, we have won many key games and are unbeaten in seven games. Therefore, I believe we have the quality to beat Brentford in the last game."  

"We still have some goals to achieve and we still have the chance to get more points and move up the standings, so we will give it our all."  

Regarding his 100th appearance for the team, Totti Gomes said: "I feel great, it's an important moment for me and I feel extremely proud. I still remember clearly my first game when I joined the team, which was at home against Southampton. Now, I have made 100 appearances for the club. I didn't expect the progress to be so fast, but I am very proud of it. This is all due to my hard work and dedication since joining."
