Cagliari announced on their official website on Saturday that they have extended the contract of its young French center forward Yael Trepy.

According to Cagliari's official statement, Trepy has signed on a new long-term four-and-a-half-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.

About Yael Trepy

The 19-year-old Trepy was born on May 20, 2006, in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, France. He is 1.91 meters tall and plays as a center forward.

Trepy played for the youth academy of US Creteil-Lusitanos and was scouted by Cagliari in 2022, joining their youth academy.

During his youth career, Trepy was part of a club that surprisingly won the Coppa Italia Primavera once.

In January 2026, Trepy completed his Cagliari first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in the match against Cremonese, even scoring just four minutes after coming on as a substitute, breaking record to become the first French player under 20 to score on his debut in a top-tier European league outside of France in the 21st century.

Since his debut, Trepy has so far made 4 appearances for the Serie A club in all competitions, scoring once.
