Sevilla FC head coach Matías Almeida attended the press conference before Sunday's match against Rayo Vallecano in the seventh round of La Liga .  

At the press conference, the Argentine coach emphasized : " We analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the match in detail, reviewing the gains and losses. The opponent was very difficult to deal with. The playing field was small and the space was limited, and they were also very strong. I have known them for 30 years. They train very hard and have a strong fighting spirit. They are a strong team."

"There was a positive side to the game a few days ago, which was that we still gave our all despite being one man down. The opponent was almost pinned down at the back and almost relegated to the second division. My style is to keep pressing and inspire them to believe in the possibility of promotion. Although sometimes it is necessary to adjust strategies, reality will always make you stronger, otherwise it will only defeat you. In that game, the two teams prepared differently, but in the end it was a evenly matched contest. We can't take it lightly, because history may repeat itself."  

"We have spoken with the player and watched several action videos. Akor was injured recently and is not expected to return until the match against Alaves. Although we will protect the injured players, that game was indeed unfair to him. We will work hard to create more chances for him in the penalty area because he has great potential. Matías Almeida concluded by talking about Adnan Januzaj : " Everyone can play football, but not everyone can play well. Sometimes it's all about confidence. Even if I don't have confidence, my level won't necessarily drop. Adnan Januzaj can see passes that others don't notice. Physically, he's not as good as other players, and we need to help him reach that level."
