Bayern Munich's new signing Jonathan Tah was recently interviewed and talked about his goals in the team, aiming to win the 2025 Club World Cup with Bayern Munich.

Jonathan Tah, 29, played for Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga for 10 years before joining Bayern Munich at the end of May this year and flew to the United States with Kompany's team to participate in the Club World Cup.

In the group match where Bayern Munich defeated Auckland City 10-0, Jonathan Tah assisted Kingsley Coman to score 6 minutes into the game and played the full 90 minutes. He also played the full game in the second round group match against Boca Juniors and helped the team advance to the round of 16 with his teammates.

"Except for the game against Benfica, my overall evaluation of this tournament so far is very positive," said Jonathan Tah. "I think the performance in the first group match was a bit underestimated. I know we may not get a lot of praise, but winning 10-0 also requires a lot of concentration. This is the attitude we showed at the time and it is what we must maintain."

Talking about the training process with his new teammates, Yonatan Tah shared, "It made the process of adapting to the team a lot easier. I was new here and had to find my place. Being able to spend time with my teammates and the coaching staff and get to know each other was priceless for me."

In addition, Bayern Munich will travel to the Hard Rock Stadium to challenge Flamengo in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup.

"I really want to participate in this tournament and I also want to win it," said Jonathan Tah. "It will be like an away game because there will definitely be a lot of South American fans and we will have to show enough concentration again."

"This is the intensity of South American football, a different style. We have to adapt to this way of playing, but also stick to our style."
