Napoli complete contract extension with young Italian midfielder and forward Antonio Vergara and Giuseppe Ambrosino..

Napoli announced on its official website on Sunday that the club have renewed the contracts of its young Italian midfielder and forward Antonio Vergara and Giuseppe Ambrosino.
According to Napoli's official statement, Vergara and Ambrosino have both signed on a new long-term five-year deals which will run until the summer of 2030.
About Antonio Vergara
Antonio Vergara, 22, was born on January 16, 2003, in Frattaminore, Italy. He is 1.82 meters tall and primarily plays as a center midfielder, but can also play as an attacking midfielder or right winger.
Vergara played for several non-league clubs in Napoli as a child. He joined Napoli's youth academy in 2014 and was subsequently loaned-out to Pro Vercelli and Reggiana after being promoted to the first-team in the summer of 2022.
After returning from his loan spell this summer, Vergara completed his Napoli first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in the match against Sassuolo in August 2025.
This was his first and only appearance for I Partenopei first-team this season, and has not registered a goal or assist.
About Giuseppe Ambrosino
Giuseppe Ambrosino, 22, was born on September 10, 2003, on the Italian island of Procida. He is 1.85 meters tall and primarily plays as a center forward, but can also play as a left winger or attacking midfielder.
Ambrosino joined the youth academy of his hometown club, Procida, at the age of six and then joined Napoli's youth academy at the age of ten. After being promoted to the first-team in the summer of 2022, he was successively loaned-out to Como, Cittadella, Catanzaro, and Frosinone.
During his loan spell, Ambrosino's impressive performances caught the attention of Celtic.
After returning from his loan spell this summer, Ambrosino completed his Napoli first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in the match against Cagliari in August 2025.
Since his debut, Ambrosino has so far made two appearances for the reigning Serie A champions in all competitions, but has yet to register a goal or assist.
