Werder Bremen announces contract extension with Salim Moussa

Werder Bremen has announced that it has renewed the contract with another cup champion, with striker Salim Moussa set to continue playing for the club. The news was officially announced by Marc Dormer, sports director of the Werder Bremen Sporting Centre, on Sunday morning.
Marc Dormer said: "With his strong physicality, superb technique and excellent shooting ability, Salim Moussa has been a threat to many teams' defenses. Despite occasional injuries, he has always persisted in his eight years with our team. We are very happy that Salim Moussa is willing to continue his positive development at Werder Bremen and look forward to working with him in the future."
In 2017, Salim Musa, who was only 11 years old, transferred from Oldenburg Football Club to Werder Bremen Sports Center. Last season, the 1.98-meter-tall striker scored 20 goals in 24 games, averaging a goal every 70 minutes. Next season, the 19-year-old will participate in the first-team pre-season training and play for the U23 national team.
