Atlético Madrid cruised to a 0-5 away victory against Real Betis in the 2025/26 Copa del Rey quarter-final at the Estadio de La Cartuja on Thursday and strongly progressed to the next stage!

In the first half, Hancko scored with a header, Simeone added a close-range finish, and Lookman added another one with a volley. In the second half, Griezmann scored from a difficult. Lookman quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before volleying the ball into the bottom left corner of the net from the center of the box with his left foot, quickly extending Atlético Madrid's lead again to 0-3!

At the end of the first half, Real Betis were already trailing Atlético Madrid by 0-3.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 62nd minute, Lookman made a straight pass from the attacking third. Griezmann quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before volleying with his left foot from the left side of the box. His shot was initially saved and cleared off not far away by Adrián. Almada quickly followed up and after picking up the loose ball, took a right-footed follow-up long shot which flew into the lower center of the net from the center of the box, sealing a 0-5 victory for Atlético Madrid!

The match ended with Atlético Madrid cruised to a resounding 0-5 away win against Real Betis.
