Celta Vigo announced on their official website on Wednesday that they have extended the contract of their Spanish forward Pablo Durán.

According to Celta Vigo's official statement, Durán has signed on a new short-term two-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2028.

About Pablo Durán

The 24-year-old Durán was born on May 25, 2001, in Tomiño, Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain. He is 1.76 meters tall and primarily plays as a center forward, but can also play as a left or right winger.

Durán joined the youth academy of his hometown club, Tomiño, at a young age. After graduating in the summer of 2020, he joined Porriño Industrial, scoring 9 goals for them in the regional non-league that season.

The following July, Durán moved to Compostela as a free agent.

During his time there, he was named Compostela's Player of the Year for his outstanding performances.

In August 2022, Durán joined Celta Vigo for €150,000.

Initially, he played for the B team before completed his Celta Vigo first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in October 2024.

Since joining O Celtiña, so far, Durán has made 68 appearances for the La Liga club in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists.
