Hellas Verona announced on its official website on Tuesday that the club had terminated the contract with former Manchester City youth academy graduate forward Jayden Braaf.

Hellas Verona did not provide a reason for Braaf's termination in its official statement, only wishing him well in the future.

However, according to exclusive information from The Athletic's resident renowned Manchester City team correspondent Sam Lee, Hellas Verona decided to terminate Braaf's contract because they could no longer tolerate with his poor attitude.

Lee added that Braaf's poor attitude was well known within the football journalist community, dating back to his youth academy days at Ajax and PSV Eindhoven before he joined Manchester City.

This problem continued even after he joined Borussia Dortmund, with coaches who worked with him complaining that Braaf is a self-important person who , , constantly loves complaining, never accepted guidance, refused to listen to advice, refused to work hard, and lacked patience.

In addition, Braaf has always been prone to injuries, and his constant injuries have worn down the patience of the clubs and coaches he has worked with.

Braaf joined Ajax's youth academy at the age of eight, moved to PSV Eindhoven's youth academy at 12, and joined Manchester City's youth academy in 2018.

In January 2023, Braaf was loaned-out to Hellas Verona, and his rights were later bought out for €1 million that summer.

Over the past two years, Braaf has been loaned-out to Fortuna Sittard and Salernitana successively, but his performances have been dismal.
