After four years of an extraordinary journey, Simone Inzaghi and Inter Milan have officially ended their partnership, a decision reached jointly during talks between the two parties.  

Simone Inzaghi led his team in 217 games during his coaching career, winning the respect of everyone, including fans, players, management and club staff, with his firm professional ethics, passion and dedication.  

Inter Milan chairman Giuseppe Marotta said: “On behalf of our major shareholder Oaktree and the entire club, I would like to thank Simone Inzaghi for his hard work and passion over the past few years and for his candid attitude during today’s meeting.”  

"This decision to separate was made with mutual respect and understanding. It is because we have always worked together to pursue success that today's conversation can be so frank and open."  

Simone Inzaghi said: "After four years of journey, after I have given everything, it is time to say goodbye to Inter Milan. This journey is full of meaning. Every day when I wake up and go to bed, the first thing I think of is this club. I want to thank all the players, senior management and staff who responded to my love for Inter Milan with unparalleled professionalism and enthusiasm."  

"Six championship trophies, plus the runner-up honors we won in Serie A, as well as the 2023 and recent Champions League campaigns, are strong proof that my work has been fully understood and supported by the coaching staff and all departments of the club.
