Chelsea announce signing of Jamie Gittens, contract expires in 2032

Chelsea announced the official signing of Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, and the two sides signed a long-term contract valid until 2032. Before joining Chelsea, the player had accumulated rich experience in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
Since his debut, he has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the German side, while also representing England at U21 level.

Jamie Gittens moved to Germany from Manchester City in 2020 and quickly entered the first team at Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park. He made his debut at the end of the 2021-22 season and made significant progress in the following season, scoring his first goal for the senior team in August of the same year.
Jamie Gittens performed well in the Bundesliga, Champions League and German Cup, making 20 appearances and scoring 3 goals. In the following season, he made 34 appearances and scored 10 goals, with a continued stable performance.
In the 2024-25 season, Jamie Gittens continued to perform well for Dortmund, contributing 17 goals in all competitions, and then represented the team in the FIFA Club World Cup. Jamie Gittens has the ability to switch freely on both sides, bringing valuable top league experience to Chelsea.
